Graham Roberts dismisses report about Tottenham Hotspur’s Mauricio Pochettino.

Graham Roberts has reacted on Twitter to a concerning report about Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine drew a line under speculation regarding his future by signing a new five-year contract with Tottenham earlier this week, tying him to Spurs until 2023.
It was a huge move by the North Londoners following speculation from Sky Sports earlier this month that FA Cup champions Chelsea were interested in the 47-year-old.
That being said, there may be a sting in the tail because Futbol Argentino reports that Pochettino has a clause in his latest extension which would allow him to leave for Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain if they came calling for his services.

But Tottenham legend Roberts isn’t buying it.
If true, it takes some of the optimism away from the announcement, given that Real and PSG were two clubs who have been linked with Pochettino in the past, so if he has an exit clause then it doesn’t change a great deal from Tottenham’s perspective; a vulnerability remains.
With that in mind, perhaps the Lilywhites should be cheering on Real in tonight’s Champions League final with Liverpool, for defeat for the Spanish giants may force Florentino Perez into removing Zinedine Zidane and that can’t be great for the North Londoners if what Futbol Argentino claim is true.
