Tottenham enter the international break in poor form.

Tottenham Hotspur’s players did not show the response fans wanted to their humiliating 7-2 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
The 3-0 loss to Brighton was almost even worse, highlighting that there remain big issues at the North London club.
One of the reasons being pointed at is the expiring contracts of senior players, Toby Alderweireld, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen.
Former Tottenham Hotspur captain has voiced his annoyance and warned the trio that their futures could be at risk due to the poor performances they are putting in.
He argues that clubs may be put off signing them, or handing them big contracts.
While Roberts’ comments have some validity, interested clubs are probably unlikely to think that way.
Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Eriksen have proved their quality over a number of years and that sustained good performance will likely outweigh the current slump.
It doesn’t help Tottenham out, but if they are a big concern, then Tottenham need to find internal alternatives and take the trio out of the team.
