Tottenham Hotspur hammered Huddersfield Town 4-0 on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a third straight win at their new stadium on Saturday afternoon, beating Huddersfield Town 4-0 in a comfortable victory.
After beating Crystal Palace 2-0 and then seeing off Manchester City 1-0 in the Champions League, Spurs had not only opened with two wins at their new home, but also two clean sheets.
Taking on already-relegated Huddersfield Town wasn’t exactly a big task, but Mauricio Pochettino rested some important players and was without the injured Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Lucas Moura stepped up and took his chance in attack, grabbing a hat-trick in a superb display, with Victor Wanyama grabbing the opener in the first half.
Moura has grabbed all the headlines, but Wanyama deserves praise too after a couple of stop-start seasons through injury, having initially starred under Pochettino in the 2016-17 season.
The Kenyan powerhouse scored his seventh goal for Spurs with his strike against Huddersfield, dancing through before rounding the goalkeeper to score.

Wanyama will now hope to kick on and show his worth to the Spurs fans again, and he received a message of support from Tottenham hero Graham Roberts after the game.
Roberts sent Wanyama a tweet telling him that he was ‘excellent’ against Huddersfield, and urged him to finish the season strongly as he attempts to get back to his best form.
