Tottenham Hotspur produced a masterclass performance to beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Graham Roberts has singled out the ‘unreal’ Tottenham trio Moussa Sissoko, Jan Vertonghen and Harry Winks after they helped their side secure a deserved 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side take a big advantage going into the second-leg in Germany as they now hold an emphatic three-goal lead against one of the best teams in Europe.
Spurs came to life in the second-half when Heung-min Son opened the scoring before Jan Veronghen doubled his side’s lead seven minutes before time. Substitute Fernando Llorente then made sure his team had an even better advantage when he netted three minutes later.
Nonetheless, former Tottenham favourite Roberts waxed-lyrical about the team and the manager as he singled out three players on his personal Twitter account.
All the three players mentioned by Roberts started the clash at Wembley, with Sissoko and Winks producing a strong midfield display and Vertonghen proving his worth in defence.
There is no doubt that Pochettino will be extra happy because his side have managed to win in such a convincing fashion without two of their key players.
Striker Harry Kane and attacking midfielder Dele Alli are on the sidelines with an injury as Spurs supporters will be hoping there could be an outside chance in one of them potentially being in the matchday squad when they fly to Germany for the second leg.
