The former Tottenham defender was inside Tottenham’s ‘new’ White Hart Lane today, and he was hugely impressed.
Patience
Tottenham fans were expected to be enjoying the team play in their new stadium at the start of this season, but there have been delays.
It must be frustrating for the North London club’s supporters, but it seems that they are in a for a treat when White Hart Lane does open.
Title challenge
Meanwhile, despite the challenges regarding the stadium, Tottenham are doing well as a team and are very much in the race for the Premier League title this season.
Spurs are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 17 matches, just six points behind leaders Liverpool.
Tottenham will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on bitter North London rivals Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.
