Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier featured for England against Slovakia at Euro 2016 on Monday.

Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier for his performance for England on Monday evening.
Dier, who can also play as a defender, featured in England’s goalless draw with Slovakia in their final Euro 2016 Group B game at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Etienne.
The 22-year-old started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and was one of the best players for the Three Lions on the night.

The Tottenham midfielder took five shots, had a pass accuracy of 93%, created two chances, attempted two dribbles, won 100% of his tackles and 25% of his headers, and made one interception and one clearance.
Former Spurs and England international defender Roberts was following the match, and he was impressed with Dier’s performance.

In three matches for England at the European Championship in France so far, Dier has scored one goal, created two chances, has a pass accuracy of 89% and a shot accuracy of 25%, and has won six headers, two dribbles and three tackles.
