Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Manchester City at the weekend.
Tottenham continued their good run of form with a 2-0 victory over City at home in the Premier League.
Aleksandar Kolarov scored an own goal in the ninth minute to put Spurs in the lead at White Hart Lane.
The North London outfit doubled their advantage in the 37th minute when Dele Alli found the target from close range.
Former Tottenham and Rangers defender Roberts was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The former England international has also suggested on Twitter that either Victor Wanyama or Christian Eriksen was Tottenham’s best player against City.
Wanyama was superb for Tottenham in midfield and had one of his best games of the season.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder imposed himself on the match and proved why he is so highly rated.
Attacking midfielder Eriksen had a good game as well, as he took four shots and created one chance against City.
