Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has fallen under increasing pressure after what has been a terrible run of results.

Graham Roberts has insisted that he is not criticising Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino, despite being frustrated with his former side’s display against Colchester United.
Roberts has been a vocal supporter of Pochettino during the Argentine’s time at Tottenham, but even he felt that the Spurs boss got it wrong in midweek.
Tottenham were dumped out of the League Cup by Colchester United on penalties in midweek, with their performance very poor.
Roberts suggested after that Pochettino has been tinkering too much with his line-up.
And the Spurs legend claims that Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura should all have started together against Colchester.
Pochettino opted to give Troy Parrott his debut up-front, with Moura, but Spurs looked toothless in attack.
It may actually not have been Spurs’s forward players’ fault that they struggled to break Colchester down though, as they really lacked creativity in midfield.
Pochettino surprisingly went with a system which included five defenders, with Oliver Skipp and Victor Wanyama in midfield.
Spurs looked out of sorts throughout the contest, and they are now under huge pressure to bounce back this weekend against Southampton.
