Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals this season.

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Premier League rivals Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The draw for the last-eight of Europe’s premier club competition was held this morning, and Tottenham will have to win against City in order to progress to the semi-finals.
Spurs will play the first leg at home, with City hosting the second leg at the Etihad Stadium.
Both Tottenham and City have strong teams, and the tie will be very interesting and intriguing.
Given how strong Pep Guardiola’s side are and the quality of players in the Citizens’ squad, City will head into the tie as favourites, but former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts believes that Mauricio Pochettino’s side team can progress to the semi-finals.
Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the draw.

Given that Tottenham are at home for the first leg, City will fancy their chances and will have an advantage.
However, Spurs have shown time and time again that they can get the better of big teams, and one should not be surprised if they do get past City.
After all, the Citizens have not always been very convincing in the Champions League knockout stages.
