Tottenham suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Newcastle at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League.
Joelinton scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute, as the Magpies registered a well-deserved victory.
Former Spurs star Roberts was following the match, and he was not impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Tottenham have a much better team than Newcastle, and the North London outfit were expected to win against the Magpies.
Spurs were far from their best against Steve Bruce’s side, and the fans will be bitterly disappointed at the manner of the team’s defeat.
Tottenham will have to get over this result soon, as they have the North London derby against Arsenal coming up.
Spurs and the Gunners will lock horns with each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League next Sunday evening.
