Tottenham maintained their good run of form with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Juan Foyth scored the only goal in the London derby in the 66th minute to help Spurs to all three points.
Former Tottenham defender Roberts was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.
The 59-year-old has picked two Spurs players for special praise – midfielder Moussa Sissoko and defender Juan Foyth, both of whom played well against the Eagles.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon, visitors Tottenham had 65% of the possession, took 11 shots of which two were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Spurs are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 12 matches, two points behind leaders Manchester City, who has a game in hand.
