Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with the Manchester United job

The groan from the Tottenham side North London could have been heard as soon as Manchester United fired Jose Mourinho yesterday morning.
After loose speculation linked Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino with the United job in the preceding weeks, it went into overdrive.
The Times reported that Pochettino wants the United job at the end of the season and is claimed to have already given it ‘serious thought’.
The paper claims Pochettino would view the opportunity as too good to turn down, despite the progress he has been making at Tottenham.
Former Tottenham captain Graham Roberts gave his take on the rumours. He is not buying in, and believes fans should not worry.
Pressed about the reports further by a Tottenham supporter, Roberts insisted the club should not be panicked.
Roberts went on to hit out at pundits Jamie Redknapp and Craig Bellamy who had both tipped Pochettino to make the move.
Tottenham have one big advantage already over Manchester United next season it currently appears. Spurs are on course for a top four finish and will secure Champions League football as a result.
United are off the pace and are likely to end up in the Europa League, or with a further slide, not in Europe at all next season.
