Tottenham Hotspur won against Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday.

Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham maintained their strong start to the 2016-17 Premier League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Boro away from home.

Son Heung-min was the star of the show for Spurs, as he scored both their goals at the Riverside Stadium.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

The former Rangers player has also praised Son for his performance against Middlesbrough.

Former Tottenham forward Garth Crooks was following the match as well, and he was impressed with Son.

During the half-time interval, Crooks was quoted as saying by BBC Sport (15:55): “Spurs are ripping Middlesbrough apart, and Son’s second goal was sensational. He’s such a mobile player and he can score goals – he’s playing brilliantly.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Middlesbrough had 41% of the possession, took six shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Tottenham had 59% of the possession, took 19 shots of which five were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Spurs are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from six matches, four points behind leaders Manchester City.
