Tottenham Hotspur are into the quarter-finals of the Champions League after a last 16 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.

Spurs went into the game having beat Dortmund 3-0 at Wembley Stadium last month, but disappointing displays against Burnley, Chelsea and Arsenal had fans worried.

Tottenham were solid in the first half at Signal Iduna Park, and then pounced in the second half as Harry Kane curled home the winner.

Spurs stood firm from then on, securing a 1-0 win on the night and a 4-0 aggregate win over the Bundesliga leaders.

It was an outstanding performance and another instance of Tottenham’s progression under Mauricio Pochettino, with fans now keen to see who is next up.

After the game, Tottenham players past and present took to Twitter to react to the result and performance, with Graham Roberts praising a whole host of players.
