Tottenham Hotspur defenders Kyle Walker and Danny Rose played well for England against Scotland on Friday evening.

Graham Roberts has praised Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Danny Rose on social networking site Twitter.

The former Tottenham defender was impressed with the performances of the full-backs for England against Scotland on Friday evening.

Spurs right-back Walker started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and so did his Spurs teammate and left-back Rose.

Roberts was following the match, and the former England international defender was impressed with the duo.

Former Manchester United and Derby County midfielder Danny Higginbotham has also praised Walker and Rose on Twitter.

Over the course of the Wembley Stadium in London on Friday evening, hosts England had 68% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Scotland had just 32% of the possession, took 12 shots of which only two were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

England are at the top of Group F at the moment with 10 points from four matches, two points clear of second-placed Slovenia.
