Former Tottenham star praises Serge Aurier’s performance.

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts praised new signing Serge Aurier after his impressive debut for the club.
Aurier featured from the start in Tottenham’s 3-1 victory at Wembley at home to Borussia Dortmund.

The Ivory Coast international was a deadline day addition from PSG and was selected for the fixture ahead of Kieran Trippier.
Roberts took to Twitter to comment that he was impressed with Aurier, along with fellow new boy Davinson Sanchez and of course star man Harry Kane.
Kane netted twice in the win along with Heung-Min Son, who notched his first goal of the season – his seventh in nine matches against Dortmund in his career.
Aurier’s performance has given Mauricio Pochettino a good selection dilemma for the season ahead, with Kieran Trippier left out to accommodate the new signing.
Competition for places will help push standards up at Spurs, and there will also be a similar battle for the left-back spot when Danny Rose returns from injury after Ben Davies’s outstanding performances early on this season.
