Former Tottenham Hotspur ace accepts the criticism of his side.

Tottenham Hotspur’s poor performance at Anfield at the weekend was highlighted last night by SkySports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
The duo told Monday Night Football that Spurs came into the game with the wrong mentality, repeating previous mistakes they have made in away games against fellow top six sides.
Liverpool won the game 2-0 to save their own faltering top four challenge, and moved to just one point behind Spurs.
Former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts was listening to the criticism, and responded by commenting that the standard has risen over the past 12 months, and the rest of the top six have become harder to play against.
Figures however make for grim reading in each of Mauricio Pochettino’s three seasons in charge, with Tottenham winning only one of their last 15 Premier League games away at Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
That was the 2-1 victory at the Etihad last season, with the campaign seeing Spurs lose only one of the five matches, an improvement on the 2014/15 season where they lost four of five.
| Season | Appearances | Won | Drawn | Lost | Points | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tottenham | 2016-2017 | 5 | 0 | 2 | 3 | 2 |
| Tottenham | 2015-2016 | 5 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 6 |
| Tottenham | 2014-2015 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 4 | 1 |
This season there has been a regression with Spurs losing three of the tricky fixtures and not winning any, and Pochettino will have to go back to the drawing board in order to help his side suffer similar problems next season.
The good news for Tottenham is they have got these fixtures out of the way already, and have competitors Manchester United and Arsenal still due to visit White Hart Lane this season, having beaten Chelsea and Manchester City at home and drawn with Liverpool.
