Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Nottingham Forest appointing Chris Hughton as their new manager.
Forest have announced on their official website that they have parted company with Sabri Lamouchi as their head coach.
The Championship club have also stated that Hughton has replaced him and is now the Reds’ new manager.
Roberts played with Hughton at Tottenham Hotspur, and he has given his take on Forest’s decision to appoint his “old teammate” as their new manager.
Good managerial appointment for Nottingham Forest?
Hughton has a lot of experience in football management, and he has been successful as well.
The former Tottenham full-back did well during his time at Brighton and Hove Albion and knows how to get teams promoted to the Premier League.
Forest are having a bad time at the moment, but it is very early in the season, and there is enough time for the Reds to turn around their form.
The Reds are third from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with no point from four matches.
Forest’s next game in the league is against Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park on October 17.
