Graham Roberts has showered praise on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Former Tottenham Hotspur player Graham Roberts has said that Harry Kane is the best striker he has ever seen to have played for the north London club.
He took to social networking site after Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town, and showered praise on Kane.
Spurs have had great strikers throughout their history. The likes of Steve Archibald, Gary Lineker, Teddy Sheringham, Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe, and Jurgen Klinsmann, have all donned the famous white shirt, and are club legends in their own right.
Roberts has said that the likes of Lineker, Klinsmann and Sheringham are top class strikers, but he rates Kane above all of them.
That is indeed a bold statement from Roberts. Kane is playing at a top level at the moment, and he could become one of the world’s best if he maintains consistency.
Kane, who scored 13 goals in the month of September, could break Alan Shearer’s record of 36 Premier League goals in a calendar year, if he manages 10 more goals to his name before January.
