Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies.

The former Tottenham defender has said that Davies has been fantastic this season and gives everything in every game.

Davies has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Premier League rivals Swansea City.

The Wales international has been the second-choice left-back due to the form of Danny Rose, but the 24-year-old is now playing regularly because of the England international’s injury.

So far this season, Davies has played in five Premier League matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

Tottenham are doing well at the moment and are very much in the running for the Premier League title.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently fourth in the league table with 11 points from six matches.
