Tottenham Hotspur eased some of the pressure on boss Jose Mourinho by beating rivals Arsenal 2-1 this evening.
Spurs drew 0-0 at Bournemouth in midweek which left fans a little concerned, even though there was a 1-0 win over Everton just days earlier.
Whilst Tottenham made a bright start, they actually behind as Alexandre Lacazette slammed home an unstoppable drive from long range.
Sead Kolasinac and David Luiz gifted Son Heung-min a leveller though, as he raced clear to dink over Emiliano Martinez to make it 1-1.
The second half was a close encounter as Arsenal dominated possession, but Toby Alderweireld headed home a Son corner to give Tottenham all three points.
Spurs could have added gloss to the win with some late chances, but claimed all three points anyway in a big win.

After the game, Spurs legend Graham Roberts took to Twitter to poke some fun at ex-Tottenham and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell, joking that he looked ‘upset’ in the Sky Sports studio after seeing the Gunners lose.
Lord Sugar celebrated the victory too, branding it a ‘great win’ – a rare positive reaction from the ex-Spurs chairman.
