The 21-year-old does need to step up his game, and Spurs fans should be optimistic about him.
Tottenham are no longer in the race for the Premier League title race, but the North London outfit can very much end up in the top four.
What Spurs need is do is forget the defeat to City, who are head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in the Premier League, and move on.
