Graham Roberts names the Tottenham player who was superb against Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Victor Wanyama’s performance for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Wanyama featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against City away from home at the Etihad Stadium.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 2-2 draw.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Wanyama.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening, hosts City had 55% of the possession, took 17 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Tottenham had 45% of the possession, took six shots of which only two were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.

The North London outfit will return to action next weekend when they take on Wycombe Wanderers at White Hart Lane in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
