The former Tottenham defender was impressed with the performance of Sanchez against Liverpool at the Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday evening.
The Colombia international centre-back started the Premier League game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 4-1.
Roberts was impressed with the performance of Sanchez and has praised him on Twitter.
Sanchez is a very young player and is only 21 years, but the Colombian looks very mature and composed on the ball.
The youngster joined Tottenham from Ajax in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £42 million.
Spurs are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and are very much in the race for the title.
The North London outfit could also progress to the last-16 stage of the Champions League during the 2017-18 campaign.
