Former Tottenham star calls for less criticism of the club’s players.

Former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts has called on ex-Spurs chairman Lord Sugar to criticise the team less.
Sugar was not impressed with a number of Tottenham players in their 1-0 win against Crystal Palace, picking out Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier for criticism, suggesting they should leave the club.
He also hit out at midfielder Dele Alli for the reputation he has now for diving.
While Aurier in particular struggled in the victory at Selhurst Park, former defender Graham Roberts believes Lord Sugar should show more support for the players.
Sugar is one of the club’s most high profile fans and his impatience towards some of the players will influence other fans to feel the same way.
While ideally all Tottenham players would be playing at the peak of their powers, some are still trying to find their best form.
The overall picture at Tottenham is healthy, they have come through an extremely difficult February fixture list unbeaten and are in good position to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
A win against Juventus next month should have everybody pulling in the same direction on and off the pitch.
