Tottenham Hotspur duo Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal have been praised by club hero Graham Roberts.
Spurs got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at home.
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game, heading home from Pedro Porro’s cross in the first half.
After losing to Liverpool in devastating fashion last weekend, Ryan Mason will be delighted to have picked up a win.
It won’t really be enough to sneak back into the Champions League qualification picture, but a win is a win.
Kane grabbed the headlines as he became the second-highest Premier League goalscorer in history.
Yet there were other strong performances for Spurs too – and Roberts picked them out on Twitter.

Graham Roberts hails Tottenham’s Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal
Roberts took to social media to praise two Tottenham defenders.
Roberts felt that Romero was ‘much much better’ on Saturday having struggled against Liverpool last week.
The Argentinian came in for huge criticism having given away a penalty at Anfield and looked shaky throughout.
Roberts was delighted with Romero’s display but also offered big praise for Emerson Royal.
Emerson has been out of the Spurs team of late with Pedro Porro taking on the right back spot.
Yet with the Brazilian so strong defensively, Mason decided to play him as a right-sided centre back on Saturday.
That allowed Emerson to shift over to right back when needed and provided a strong defensive presence behind the attack-minded Porro.
That may be something Tottenham want to persist with moving forward and Roberts was very impressed.
Roberts suggested that Emerson was ‘excellent’ against Palace before going on to praise his attitude.
Roberts noted that maybe Spurs fans need to be patient with players, believing that Emerson has now impressed in his right positions thanks to his pace and ability in the air.
