Graham Roberts is a huge fan of the Tottenham Hotspur man.

Graham Roberts has said on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur’s Victor Wanyama might be a shoo-in for the PFA Player of the Year by Christmas if he continues in the same vein.
Tottenham drew 0-0 with Bournemouth on Saturday in a result which saw them fail to move top of the Premier League.
It might have been considered a poor result before kickoff, but at full time it was arguably a case of one point earned rather than two dropped as the Cherries refused to show Spurs too much respect at the Vitality Stadium.

One big reason for the draw was goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who pulled off a couple of fine saves, but Wanyama, a £12 million signing from Southampton in the summer, was in superb form again as he sat in front of Tottenham’s back four to great effect.
Roberts is one of the Kenyan’s biggest fans if his previous tweets are anything to go by, and the ex-Spurs man has now joked that the 25-year-old could have a big individual prize wrapped up before the calendar year is out.

It is undoubtedly a tongue in cheek comment, but the fact remains that Wanyama has been brilliant and if the shortlist was compiled in December then he would surely be on it.
At £12m, the former Celtic stalwart is looking like one of the bargains of the season, but it is vitally important for the Lilywhites that he is consistent.
