Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur signing Joe Hart in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham defender believes that the ex-Manchester City goalkeeper is a great signing.

Spurs announced today on their official website that they have secured the services of the England international goalkeeper on a two-year contract.

The 33-year-old was a free agent following his departure from Burnley earlier this summer.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Hart may be past his prime, but the 33-year-old remains a good goalkeeper who will enhance the quality of the Tottenham squad between the sticks.

The former City player won the Premier League title twice and the FA Cup once with the Citizens, and he will bring that winning mentality to the squad.

Hugo Lloris will start next season as the first-choice goalkeeper, but the Frenchman will be aware that if he makes any mistakes, then Hart will be waiting in the wings.

Tottenham will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season after failing to do so in 2019-20.
