Leeds United continue to be linked with Daniel James.

Swansea City boss Graham Potter has told Wales Online that there is nothing to report on Daniel James amid interest from Leeds United.
The Swans drew 3-3 at home to Birmingham City on Tuesday night, with winger James grabbing the first goal in what was a difficult night for Potter’s men.
James scored a goal which summed up his qualities; a smart one-two with Oliver McBurnie before using his pace to get away from the Birmingham defence, and a fine left-footed finish to open the scoring.
James turned in a fine performance at a time when speculation surrounds his future at the Liberty Stadium ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Leeds United are keen to lure James to Elland Road, but are running out of time to do it amid reports that the two clubs are struggling to agree a fee.
TEAMtalk report that Leeds have offered £4.5million with £5.5million in add-ons, but whilst Swansea would take a fee of around £10million, they want more up front, in the region of £6.5million.

Whether the two clubs can reach an agreement remains to be seen, and Potter suggested after last night’s game that there is no update on the situation right now.
Potter added that it will take ‘a lot of money’ to sign James because he has ‘big’ potential, but with 18 months left on his contract, he understands why where is speculation about the 21-year-old wide man.
“Not as far as I’m aware no. Nothing to report,” said Potter. “We want to help him improve and reach his potential. He’s an exciting player that we’ve helped develop. His potential is big. He’s got 18 months left on his contract. Of course there’s speculation, but I think it takes a lot of money to take him away from us because we want to keep him and carry on building a team,” he added.
