Mauricio Pochettino is struggling at Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Graham Potter has described Mauricio Pochettino as a ‘top manager’ in the wake of Tottenham Hotspur’s horrific Champions League result.
Pochettino is coming under fire following Spurs’ 7-2 defeat by Bayern Munich in North London this week.
It was the lowest point of what’s swiftly becoming a terrible season for Tottenham, who were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by a League Two side and sit 10 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites attempt to bounce back this weekend by visiting Brighton & Hove Albion.
And Seagulls boss Potter is adamant that Pochettino – who led Tottenham to a Champions League final last season – remains an elite coach in spite of recent results.
He told Football London: “Mauricio Pochettino is a top manager. What he’s done at that club I have the utmost respect for.
“He’s competed at the top of the league, not with the same resources but still in the top four above big teams. [They were] Champions League finalists – he’s done a wonderful job.”
Brighton have won just once in the Premier League this season and if it becomes two on Saturday then the pressure will increase in a serious way for Pochettino.
Yes, he’s a brilliant manager, but all good things come to an end eventually and another defeat this weekend would do his chances of staying in North London no good at all.
