Much was expected of Graham Dorrans when he joined Rangers in the summer of 2017 and when Pedro Caixinha was in charge of the Ibrox club.
Disappointing Rangers spell
According to Sky Sports, Rangers paid Norwich City in England a transfer fee of £1.3 million to secure the services of Dorrans.
The 32-year-old Scottish midfielder struggled to make an impact at Rangers and had injury issues.
When he was fit, Dorrans was unable to get into the team, and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard decided to cut all ties with the midfielder in the summer transfer window, with the player’s contract being terminated.
In demand
Now a free agent, the midfielder does not seem to be short of offers, with The Daily Record claiming of interest from Dundee.
The report has also stated that Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock remain interested in Dorrans after failing to agree a deal for the Scotland international when the summer transfer window was open.
Bolton Wanderers are interested in Dorrans, too, according to The Daily Record, which has also stated that a move to Australia is on the cards as well.
Future
Dorrans may not have been wanted by Rangers, but it seems that he will do just fine.
The midfielder is still good enough to play at a high level, and a move to Kilmarnock, Bolton or Dundee could see him return to his best.
