Rangers have snapped up midfielder Graham Dorrans this evening.
Rangers have today completed the signing of Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans, and he has spoken to the club’s official website about his move to Ibrox.
The Gers had already landed eight summer signings – including the likes of Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack and Alfredo Morelos – but Tuesday’s embarrassing Europa League defeat to Progres Niederkorn has heightened the need for even more additions.
Rangers’ top target for much of the summer has been Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans, and this evening, Pedro Caixinha finally got his man.

The 30-year-old Scotland international featured in 23 of Norwich’s 46 Championship games last season, scoring six goals, but he has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Canaries boss Daniel Farke.
Now, Dorrans completes a dream move to Ibrox. The Glasgow-born midfielder grew up supporting Rangers, and he now has the chance to pull on the famous blue shirt having penned a three-year contract.
After completing his move earlier today, Dorrans spoke to the club’s official website about his move, and highlighted the influence of three men.
Dorrans noted that manager Caixinha has been vital in his move having spoke to him on a number of occasions, before hailing new team-mates Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller for helping get a deal done by speaking to Caixinha themselves.
Dorrans added that he can’t wait to play for Rangers for the first time, having dreamed of playing for them as a kid – and Gers fans should be excited to see him in action.

“The manager has been great too. I will play where he wants me to play; I am just excited to come in here,” said Dorrans. “I have been chatting to him for the last week or so, and he has been the driving force behind the move. I am looking forward to coming in and working with him.”
“Both Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller have been a big driving force behind pushing to get me in here. I have been speaking to them both regularly on the phone and they have been speaking to the manager as well, they have been great.”
“I can’t wait to start; it is something I have always dreamed of since I was a kid so I am looking forward to getting into training and getting the boots on. Once that day comes to run out at Ibrox it will be great,” he added.
