The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been in magnificent form this season.

Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness criticised Tottenham for their failure to win a major trophy in 10 years, suggesting that Harry Kane is the only world class player at the club. as quoted by Football.London.
Mauricio Pochettino has earned rave reviews for the job that he has done in north London, since being handed the reigns at Spurs in May 2014, but his inability to guide his side to major honours remains a hot topic amongst the media.
The Lilywhites have enjoyed a relatively successful campaign this season, and currently sit in fourth position in the Premier League table, seven points clear of fifth placed Chelsea.

They also have an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United to look forward to later this month, and Tottenham fans will be desperate for their side to end their trophy hoodoo.
Souness, who began his career at Spurs, explained why they must start winning things if they are to be classed as a top side, suggesting that Kane is their only truly world class player, as quoted by Football.London:

“We’ve been talking the last three or four years about how good they are. They’ve not got past the post on winning a title yet. That’s something they have to change. They’ve not won anything. They’ve got a chance of winning the FA Cup. That’d be a start for them. You’ve got to start winning things sooner or later. This is a team that has got a world class player as a centre-forward. They’ve got to start winning things to keep the very best players.”
Next up for the Lilywhites is a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion tomorrow night, and Kane will be looking to close the gap on Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in the race for this season’s Golden Boot.
