Speaking on the Sky Sports Football Podcast, Graeme Souness has tipped Raphinha to draw interest from a top club if he has another good season at Leeds.
The Brazilian winger had an excellent first season in English football, earning all sorts of praise from various managers and pundits, and Souness believes it may not be long until a big club comes in for him.
What’s been said?
Souness was full of praise for the Leeds star.
“He’s certainly one of their standout players. I’ve said this several times, but if he has a good year this year some big clubs will knock on Leeds’ door. He’s a game changer, he can dribble, he’s got pace, he works his socks off. When I’ve seen him play he looks to be an all-round good player, and those players are few and far between. Someone who has got all of that talent and still wants to do the hard yards,” Souness said.

Going to the very top
Souness isn’t wrong about Raphinha, he’s a quality player who is destined for the very top.
With all due respect to Leeds United, the Brazilian is good enough to play for a much bigger club, and it wouldn’t surprise us if he made a move in the not too distant future.
When we say the very top, we’re talking about Champions League level, that’s how good Raphinha is, and it’s a credit to Leeds and Victor Orta that the Whites were able to land him last summer.
If he is to leave Elland Road, he’ll certainly command an absolutely massive fee.
