Arsenal have one of the best squads in the Premier League, and there is no surprise that the Gunners are being tipped by many to push Manchester City all the way in the Premier League title race this season.

Just like they did last season.

Arsenal did look very threatening last season, but in the end, Manchester City got the job done and won the Premier League title.

Gabriel Jesus back scoring goals for Arsenal

One of the best players for the Gunners in the opening months of last season was Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazil international striker joined Arsenal from City in the summer of 2022 and made an immediate impact.

Jesus did not look at his best after his injury, and that did affect Arsenal.

The 26-year-old has had injury problems this season as well, but the Gunners have done well without him.

Jesus is now back in action, and he is back with a bang.

The Brazilian star scored one of the goals for Arsenal against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League.

The striker was on target for the Gunners against PSV in the UEFA Champions League in midweek as well.

Praise for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus

Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has been impressed with Jesus and has praised him.

The pundit has noted that the striker is aggressive, lively and brave.

Souness wrote in The Daily Mail: “Arsenal do have some very good players in their team.

“Gabriel Jesus, back after two knee operations in 12 months, who is lively, aggressive, brave and can hopefully now just get on with his career.”

We believe that Gabriel Jesus is one of the best and most important players for Arsenal.

For the Gunners to win the Premier League title this season, Jesus has to be on top of his game throughout.

The Arsenal no. 9 scored 11 goals and gave six assists in 24 Premier League starts last season.

Jesus has scored 70 goals and given 35 assists in 188 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
