Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur produced stunning fightbacks to reach the Champions League final.

Graeme Souness has claimed that Liverpool will beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final because they have ‘better players’.
The Premier League duo staged remarkable fightbacks in midweek when they won their respective European semi-finals in the most dramatic of fashions.
The Reds overturned Barcelona’s three-goal deficit at Anfield on Tuesday night and Spurs followed it up by scoring three goals in less than 45 minutes to knock Ajax out of the competition the following day.
Speaking to Virgin Media Sports, as posted on their official Twitter account, Souness gave an insight into the final and shared who he’s backing.
“For Klopp, it’ll be all about the games in the last few years [final defeats] don’t count for nothing,” Souness told Virgin Media. “For Pochettino, it’s all about reminding them about how close they were.
“The last two games that have been Anfield, when Spurs have gone there, this season and last season, Spurs were unlucky on both occasions. But Liverpool will win it – they have better players, simple as.”

One of the most remarkable things about those wins was that both teams had a number of their key players missing – Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino were injured for Liverpool, whilst Harry Kane was absent for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Yet despite that, they managed to claw a win out of seemingly nothing and create two of the greatest nights by an English team in European history.
Now, after all that drama, they will both lock horns in Madrid at the start of next month, with one of the ultimate prizes in Europe up for grabs.
Either Liverpool will be winning their sixth European crown or Pochettino will be guiding Tottenham to a historic first Champions League crown.
