Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor was sent off for Steven Gerrard’s side at Ibrox at the weekend.

Rangers goalkeeper McGregor was sent off during the Gers’ 1-0 win against Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper was dismissed in the 89th minute of the encounter for raking his studs into the back of Marc McNulty.
Former Rangers midfielder and manager Souness has criticised McGregor, and so has Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd, who had two separate spells at the Gers and is a former teammate of the Scotsman at Ibrox and for the Scotland national football team.
Souness told The Scottish Sun: “That’s ill- discipline and just not acceptable. “How old is Allan McGregor, 37? He should have worked that out by now.”
Boyd told The Scottish Sun: “There is not any excuse for Allan. There is an angry side to him this year and I don’t understand why.”
Boyd added: “I don’t get what is going through his head sometimes. He doesn’t need to show the Rangers fans he cares by doing stuff like this. His performances show that he cares, and that he wants to win with Rangers.”

Good signing for Rangers
McGregor will be disappointed with what he did against Hibernian, but there is no hiding from the fact that the Scotsman has been a brilliant signing for Rangers.
The Scotsman joined Rangers in the summer of 2018 on a free transfer, and the former Hull City goalkeeper has established himself as the undisputed first choice between the posts at Ibrox.
