Rangers are in action against St Johnstone this evening.

Rangers boss Graeme Murty has told the club’s official Twitter account that Declan John has missed tonight’s game with St Johnstone due to a groin knock.
The Gers beat Hearts 2-0 at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon and are now on course for another victory having travelled to take on St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park this evening.
First half goals from James Tavernier, Josh Windass and Sean Goss have put Rangers 3-0 up at the break, with Murty’s men on their way to another win after another fine attacking display in the first half.

If Rangers can see out the final 45 minutes, they will again cut Celtic’s lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to six points, keeping a modicum of pressure on the Bhoys.
Murty will have to do it without left back Declan John though, as the defender wasn’t named in the starting XI or on the bench for tonight’s trip, after playing against Hearts on Saturday.
With Lee Wallace injured and Myles Beerman nowhere to be seen, midfielder Andy Halliday – who has some limited experience of playing at left back in his career – was pressed into action, starting in John’s place.

Before the game, manager Murty spoke to the club’s official Twitter account, and confirmed that John felt pain in his groin on Monday, so was taken out of contention for the trip to St Johnstone, with Halliday coming in.
“Andy’s going to play at left back, Declan felt a little discomfort in his groin yesterday, so it’s precautionary and we’re going to take him out of the line-up and we’re just going to assess him later on,” said Murty.
In fact, John has even taken to Twitter to react to the first half display, suggesting that his teammates are on fire after a ‘great’ showing in the first 45, with Rangers looking to add another win in 2018.
