The Ibrox supremo has impressed during his time in charge at Glasgow Rangers.
Gers caretaker boss Graeme Murty spoke exclusively to Rangers TV about the impressive start he has made to his temporary reign at Ibrox, and shared what he has changed during training sessions, following Pedro Caixinha’s departure last month.
The Glasgow giants currently sit in fourth position in the Scottish Premiership table, and are six points adrift of bitter rivals Celtic, although they have improved vastly in recent weeks, with comfortable wins over Hearts and Partick Thistle.
Rangers’ struggles as a whole, have been made all the harder to swallow for their fans because of the Hoops’ total dominance in domestic competition over the past five years or so.
Murty though, is trying his utmost to reverse his side’s flagging fortunes, despite his expected short-term role at the helm.
The 43-year-old sat down for an exclusive interview with Rangers TV, and opened up on some of the changes he has made during his short spell in charge at Ibrox:
“I have changed the schedule slightly; I have changed the intensity and the meaning of the days slightly. I have given them a day off in the week to go and recharge and go and spend some time with the family. The work is more about the implication of the session rather than always being about a specific element.”

Next up for Rangers is a home game against Hamilton Academical, and a win will be of paramount importance, if they are to keep pace with league leaders Celtic.
