Glasgow Rangers striker Kenny Miller is out injured, and Ibrox manager Graeme Murty says the Gers star is keen on making a comeback.

Miller is on the sidelines at the moment with a hamstring injury he suffered in December 2017.
Murty told Rangers’ official website: “Kenny is getting close, he is hitting some good speeds in his rehab outside and if you know Kenny he is desperate to get back in, he is desperate to be involved.
“He is desperate to stake a claim and put a marker down with the new guys that are here. He is getting close.”

Miller is in his third spell at Rangers at the moment and remains an influential figure at Ibrox.
The Scotsman remains one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the 38-year-old’s importance for the Gers cannot be undermined.
However, Miller is going to find it hard to re-establish himself in the Rangers first team, with the Ibrox club seemingly preparing for life without him.

Rangers have signed Scotland international striker Jason Cummings on loan from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England in the January transfer window.
With Alfredo Morelos going strong, if Cummings hits the ground running, then it is going to be hard for Miller to get much playing time in the second half of the season.
Miller’s current contract with Rangers runs out at the end of the season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
