Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers started with Jason Cummings against Kilmarnock yesterday.

Cummings joined Rangers from Nottingham Forest in January, but he has regularly been used in reserve so far.
Alfredo Morelos has generally been Rangers’ first-choice striker, with Cummings having to make do with a place on the bench.
However, the Scottish striker was given a start yesterday against Kilmarnock.

Unfortunately, Cummings did not do much to impress, as Rangers slipped to a 1-0 defeat.
But Murty feels that Cummings did not have enough service to show his best.
He said: “We always looked at games to spell Alfredo, he’s played a lot of football. We need to be fair to Jason, he’s worked extremely hard in training and I thought it was game that would fit him, but we need to get good service into him, to give him a good chance of representing himself properly.”

Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Kilmarnock, as they slipped to their second defeat in a row.
Rangers are now under pressure to keep hold of second spot, with Aberdeen just two spots behind them.
Cummings has scored five goals in 11 appearances for Rangers since arriving at Ibrox.
