Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are still looking for a new manager, after parting company with Mark Warburton.
Glasgow Rangers boss Graeme Murty has admitted to Sky Sports that he knows very little about the Ibrox side’s search for a new manager.
Murty has been placed in charge at Rangers since Mark Warburton departed two weekends’ ago.
The caretaker manager started his time in charge of Rangers with a win over Morton, but things took a turn for the worse yesterday.
Rangers were beaten 2-1 by Dundee in their most recent match, which frustrated Murty greatly.
It has led to calls for Rangers to move quickly to appoint a new manager, but Murty admits he hasn’t been given much of an update over how long he will be in charge.
“The appointment will take place whenever it takes place and the players need to take care of business on the football pitch first, last and always,” Murty said.
“I will carry on until told otherwise, but it’s fair to say I’m very disappointed with how this first game has gone.”
At the moment Alex McLeish is the favourite to take over at Rangers, after he appeared to admit having an interest in taking charge at Ibrox.
If McLeish does take charge at Rangers, he will be under pressure to get the Light Blues back on track.
Rangers are battling for second place with Aberdeen, and currently sit six points behind the Dons in the Scottish Premiership table.
