Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers won against Ross County at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Rangers caretaker-manager Graeme Murty has said that Ross McCrorie was magnificent in the first half against Ross County, as quoted by BBC Sport (17:55).

McCrorie featured for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership game against County at Ibrox in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old defender started the match and played for 73 minutes, as the Gers won 2-1, thanks to goals from Alfredo Morelos and Danny Wilson in the second half.

Murty has praised McCrorie’s performance in the first half and is quoted as saying by BBC Sport (17:55): “Ross McCrorie got a bang in the first half. He was magnificent in the first half. He took a sore one, but I’ll go in and see how he is.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon, hosts Rangers had 59% of the possession, took 19 shots of which six were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.

The win against County was Rangers’ third in a row in the Scottish Premiership following back-to-back victories over Aberdeen.

Saturday’s result at Ibrox means that the Glasgow giants are second in the league table at the moment with 33 points from 17 matches, level on points with third-placed Aberdeen.
