Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers lost against Dundee in what was the second successive defeat for Graeme Murty’s side.
McCrorie featured for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership game against Dundee away from home at Dens Park on Friday evening.
The 19-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Gers lost 2-1.
It was Rangers’ second successive defeat in the league following a 2-0 home loss to Hamilton Academical at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers caretaker-manager Murty has admitted that the Scotland Under-21 international defender played for the entire match despite carrying an injury.
“Ross will be in the care of our medical staff and we will see if we can get him ready as soon as possible,” Murty told Rangers’ official website.
“He is a sturdy guy and did well to stay on the pitch as I wanted to remain free to have attacking options if we needed them.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Dens Park on Friday evening, visitors Rangers had 53% of the possession, took 15 shots of which eight were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
The defeat to Dundee means that the Gers are now fourth in the Scottish Premiership table with 24 points from 14 matches, nine points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.
