Glasgow Rangers have injury concerns, but Ibrox boss Graeme Murty has tried to play down the problems.

The Scottish Premiership side are currently on a mid-season tour in Florida and have games against Atletico Mineiro and Corinthians before the end of the week.

However, neither McCrorie or Jack will be involved for the fixtures. But Murty seemed keen to play down the idea that either are suffering from any kind of serious problem and hinted that their absences were more of a precautionary measure.

“Those are two historical ones that have had, not relapses, but we are taking our time with because we want to make sure that we don’t push them too hard and we give them longer-term problems.”
It would certainly be a major blow for Rangers if either player is still sidelined once the team return from their mid-season tour as both men have been important parts of the club’s midfield this season.
McCrorie has been exceptional in that holding midfield role and Jack has shown plenty of glimpses of his quality since he arrived at Ibrox in the summer and would have been looking for a lengthy run in the team to prove himself even further after something of a stop-start run.
Rangers’ first opponent following the resumption of the season is Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup before they return to top flight action as they host Aberdeen a few days later.
