Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are chasing further additions in the January transfer window.

Murty has a strong idea of the players he wants to see at Ibrox, and how he wants his Rangers side to play football.
It has already been noticeable that Rangers’ transfer policy has switched, since Murty took over from Pedro Caixinha.

Rangers looked abroad for most their signings while Caixinha was in charge, but Murty has targeted British players during his time at the helm at Ibrox so far.
And Murty has suggested that his style of football demands that any players he signs for Rangers need to be good on the ball, while also having an aggressive nature to their play.
“I don’t want to cast aspersions on anyone from outside Scotland or indeed the British Isles. That would not be right,” Murty said.
“But the make-up and style of football that I want to play is simple.

“I want to be dynamic, I want to be up-tempo and fast-paced.
“I want to be physical but I also need players who can deal with the football.
“Players who can stand up inside Ibrox and command possession of the ball.
“I talked a while back about the recruitment group and what we were looking for.
“Well, these are the attributes I was referring too.
“I want strong characters, people who can handle the mental demands of playing for Rangers and playing at Ibrox.”
Rangers have already been active in the January transfer window, with Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy arriving at Ibrox.
The Light Blues are expected to make further additions in the coming weeks, with more players targeted by Murty.
Rangers are thought to be working on deals for the likes of Russell Martin and Greg Docherty.
Rangers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup.
