West Ham United progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win at the London Stadium on Saturday.

West Ham beat Birmingham City 2-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday, as they progressed to the fourth round.
And Pellegrini’s words before the match ensured that West Ham were motivated for the game against Championship opposition.
“We want to try and go all the way in this competition. The manager said to us it’s a chance to win a cup so we’re going to try and do that,” Diangana said.
West Ham took the lead when Marko Arnautovic capitalised on a goalkeeping error.
The Hammers didn’t really click into top gear after that, but they did seal their progress through a late Andy Carroll goal.

West Ham have not won the FA Cup since 1980, and have not been to the final since 2006, so lifting the trophy would be a momentous occasion for Pellegrini’s side.
The Hammers will find out their opponents in the next round of the competition later this evening, after Liverpool take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.
