Grady Diangana is playing well for West Ham United at the moment.
Diangana made the comments while discussing his international future, having been born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and moving to London when he was just four years of age, as reported by The Sun.
The 20-year-old’s performances for the Hammers so far this season have been quite impressive and encouraging.
The attacking midfielder has said that for now he is focused on West Ham, not on for which country he will play his international football for.
Diangana told The Sun regarding his international allegiance: “I’ve not thought about that yet. I just want to play for West Ham now.
“Hopefully, the international honours will come but for now I’m just focusing on West Ham and doing what I can for this club.”
Encouraging
Diangana is only 20 years of age and is far from the finished article, but it is clear that he has a lot of potential.
The attacking midfielder has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
West Ham are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from as many matches.
