Declan Rice’s future at West Ham United has come into question recently.

Diangana started for West Ham yesterday, and he caught the eye on debut against Macclesfield Town, as he found the back of the net twice in an 8-0 win.
The Hammers absolutely dominated the contest, with Rice’s showing in midfield once again catching the eye.
And Diangana admits that he was stunned by how well his 19-year-old teammate played.
“For me, even during the game, I was watching Declan and he amazed me, the things that he did. He is still someone to look up to, even though he’s younger than me,” said Diangana.

Rice provides hope to West Ham’s youngsters that they could follow in his footsteps and break into the first-team.
Rice has been a key member of the senior squad for two seasons at the London Stadium now.
The youngster’s future at West Ham is currently under question, though, as his contract is still not sorted.
Rice has less than a year left on his current deal, and agreeing terms over a new contract is proving problematic.
