West Ham United have some of the best young talent in the country on their books.
When you speak to West Ham United fans about the teenage talent coming through the ranks right now, talk inevitably turns to Reece Oxford and Martin Samuelsen, while recent addition Toni Martinez also looks like a star in the making.
However, there is another young player currently plying his trade for the Hammers’ second string who could go on to great things at the London Stadium and may even earn a first-team chance this season, most likely in the cup competitions.
Grady Diangana is an 18-year-old right winger who can also operate on the opposite flank or in the centre of the field if required.
With two assists in three matches for West Ham’s under-23s this season, he is starting as he will mean to go on, and while he still has a long way to go, his versatility and eye for a pass mark him out as one to watch.
While Oxford and Samuelsen are the usual suspects when it comes to articles about the next big thing at West Ham, Diangana could slip under the radar.
But in time expect him to get his chance and, hopefully, to seize it, with the future at the Hammers looking exceptionally bright.
